Do you ever find that when you go to prepare or eat an orange you toss the orange peels away thinking there is simply no use for these sticky suckers? I've done this my entire life up until now. I was surprised of the benefits you could get from simple orange peels. Here is a list of 10 amazing ways to use orange peels

1: Eat Them

This relates to all fruits and vegetables as well, most of the nutrients are found in the skin... Orange peels are jam packed with vitamin C. You could simply blend down and add to your salad or add them to your smoothie or vegetable juice for a zesty taste.


Applying orange peels to your face helps clear black heads, dead cells, acne, blemishes, and dark circles while brightening your face. Here is directions to an amazing orange peel face mask below:

•Take orange peels and slice them which will allow them to dry quicker (try making them all the same size)

•Lay them flat on a cloth to absorb the extra water. It is best you lay them where they'd recieve the most natural sunlight.

•Allow orange peels to dry 3-5 days if in dry climate, and 2-3 in hot sunny climates.

•Once peels are completely dry , place them in a blender but please be sure there isn't a drop of water within the blender or everything is just ruined.

•Once the power is formed pour it into a bowl and mix 3-4 tablespoon of honey.

• Now that it's a paste you can apply it to your (clan face first) face and let it sit for 15-20 minutes then rinse with Luke warm water.


Orange peels are also used for aromatherapy, which is helpful for depression, anxiety and headaches.


Feeling ill after a little too much alcohol then orange peels to the rescue. Mix orange peels and sea salt in boiling water for 15-20 minutes, once water cool down drink it twice on the day of your hanger to reduce the excruciating pain.


Not only does orange peels remove dandruff, it is also a great cleanse and conditioner for the hair. Simply grind the orange peels in water then leave it over night to do its magic, apply the next day and enjoy!

8:Bath Oil

Add a little grounded dried orange peels to your bath and soak for 15-20 minutes which brightens and stimulate the skin cells.


Add orange peels to a pot of boiling water and enjoy the fresh zesty smell in your home. You could also put them in a small zip lock bag then place it in your sock drawer, car, office desk or anywhere for a clean fresh smell.
